Editorial design for a study on SED injustice in the GDR

How do you design research on a difficult chapter of German history? For the research network of the universities of Jena, Leipzig, Magdeburg and Rostock, we developed the editorial design for a comprehensive study on SED injustice in the GDR. The brochure and flyer translate complex academic content into a clear, accessible visual language: a calm layout, structured typography and precisely placed accents give the research findings and the stories of those affected the space they deserve.
